THE DOOR

My name is Daniel Herrera, and I want to share how God transformed my life. I was born and raised in Central California, where I lived a life marked by alcoholism, drug use, and violence. It was a path that felt consuming, and for a long time, I didn’t see a way out. But God had a different plan for me. When I joined the Navy, life took me to Virginia, far from the environment I was used to. It was there, in a place where I had to face myself and my choices, that God reached into my life in a powerfully. In October of 2016, both my wife Krystle and I surrendered our lives to Christ. That moment wasn’t just a decision—it was a rescue, a complete change from the life I had known. Since then, everything has changed. My wife and I are now raising our two children in a home built on Christ’s love and truth. We are no longer bound by the chains of our past. God’s grace has carried us through every trial, and though the journey hasn’t been without its challenges, we are living in the freedom and hope that only Jesus can provide. Today, I have the privilege to be able to pastor this church here in the heart of Charlotte, NC and we would love for you to join our family. Church is more than just a gathering place, it’s where you come to have an encounter with Jesus.
